As Strong and as Magnificent as a Horse

Since the dawn of human history, horses have captured our imagination. They’re unlike any other animal on earth and they seem to hold a mystical sway over us. In their untamed wildness, we fear them. In their glorious victory, we revere them. It is said that no animal has contributed more to the spread of civilization as the horse. Used to pull wheeled vehicles, chariots, carts, and wagons, horses helped shape the way humans live and paved the way for civilization.

Horses are present in many cultures and they’ve always meant to represent strength, reliability, triumph, and freedom. In Chinese zodiac as well as Celtic mythology, the horse is a symbol of good luck. For Native American tribes, horses meant victory. Tribes that had more horses often win in battle and had larger territories. In Greek mythology, the magnificent winged horse Pegasus represents power, mobility, and ambition. In Roman mythology, horses meant travel and movement as they are seen pulling the chariot of the sun god Helios.

Throughout history– from ancient tribes to valiant knights, from fierce warlords to modern aristocrats, horses helped win wars, provided sustenance,  transportation, status, and companionship. Indeed, no other animal in history is more fascinating, more useful and more revered than the faithful horse.

With that being said, a horse, we believe, is the best symbol to represent Valley Bread. Just like the horse, Valley Bread aims to be a symbol of strength and reliability by consistently providing the people of Cordillera with mouth-watering, nutritious bread and pastries.

Valley Bread also represents freedom — freedom from hunger and high cost by promising our customers consistent quality, freshness, good value, and affordability.
